To help our clients better understand the processes by which we work. The following is provided so you have a more realistic expectation regarding the results SIIC Group will provide for you.
- SIIC Group has no more authority than does a private citizen. We are not law enforcement. The training, testing, background checks, and certification process to obtain our licenses set us apart as committed to unbiased professionalism.
- Though SIIC Group is very knowledgeable of the laws, any advice SIIC Group gives concerning your case is merely a suggestion. You should always consult your legal representation or seek legal representation.
- SIIC Group gathers information. This information is generated through diligence and knowing where to look. SIIC Group is experienced and trained on where and how to find information.
- Sometimes the information generated is contrary to what the client hopes to find. SIIC Group cannot guarantee results. SIIC Group can only ensure that the information, documentation, etc., requested by our client will be searched for diligently, legally, and expediently.
- Surveillance, especially moving surveillance, is a hit and miss activity. SIIC Group can perform surveillance but cannot promise activity on behalf of the subject being surveilled. Surveillance carries inherent obstacles; weather, lighting, traffic conditions, and physical barriers all affect maintaining contact with the surveilled subject, so outcomes cannot be guaranteed. As stated above, SIIC Group is not a law enforcement agency; therefore, we are just as liable for our actions as you would be. SIIC Group will not knowingly violate laws to conduct surveillance. Privacy and private property laws also affect our surveillance abilities.
